BTS‘s Jungkook and American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth go way back!
The two have been outspoken fans of each other for many years. They finally met and collaborated for a performance of Charlie Puth’s single, “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” at the 2018 MBC Plus X Genie Music Awards, which Jungkook previously covered.
Yet, fans have been anticipating an official collaboration ever since, and they weren’t the only ones. In April, Charlie Puth teased that he had a “dream” that BTS was featured on his new song.

Finally, Charlie Puth accidentally confirmed the feature in a recent interview at the Los Angeles radio station KIIS-FM-produced concert iHeartRadio Wango Tango.

Since then, Charlie Puth officially announced his collaboration with BTS’s Jungkook with a cute behind-the-scenes video featuring the group’s beloved maknae! On TikTok, Puth promised that if their song reached 500,000 pre-saves, it would be released on June 24.
Now, Charlie Puth is feeding us with even more behind-the-scenes content and teasers, showcasing his friendship with Jungkook!
The day after Charlie Puth announced that Jungkook would be the featured artist on “Left and Right,” he dropped a fun, vibrant cover art. The two singers posed together!

Then on June 22 night, Charlie Puth teased something special for their fans. He told them to visit his TikTok come June 23 at midnight (EST).

Sure enough, there was a new video featuring him and Jungkook! It was a self-filmed video of the two on the set of the MV for “Left and Right.”
In typical Charlie Puth fashion, the two made music with “nothing,” just the car they were sitting in (if you’re familiar with Puth’s content on TikTok, you’ll know what we mean!). They appeared to be having so much fun together!
That wasn’t all, though. Charlie Puth is keeping the fandoms well-fed.
He revealed a teaser trailer for the “Left and Right” music video, and we can’t get enough of Jungkook and Charlie Puth together! They’re too cute.
As promised, “Left and Right” will release on June 24 at 12 AM (EST)!
